Microsoft rolls out a new Xbox app for iPhone and iPad
Microsoft has released the revamped version of its Xbox app for iOS. The Xbox app debuted first for devices running Windows 10 (PCs, tablets and phones), but now Microsoft rolls out the same features to iOS and Android.
The Xbox app for iOS is actually a revamped version of the old Xbox SmartGlass, but the new app looks a lot like its Windows 10 counterpart and offers the same features available on other platforms. Using the app, the iOS gamers will be able to buy titles from the Store, follow friends, track accomplishments, watch game content, and much more.
The app includes a redesigned Activity Feed with more personal feeds. Users can see what is popular at the moment in the Trending section. Xbox comes with a built-in friend finder allowing you to add friends from Facebook and connect to Xbox users. Other new features are the Game Hub, Updated profiles, real name sharing, updated navigation and media control. Download Xbox for iPhone and iPad for free.
