iPhone X plus

iPhone X Plus may come in 2018 with a starting price of $1249

Apple set to launch three new iPhones in 2018, including a 6.5-inch model.

Apple may be planning to release three new iPhones in 2018 with a design similar to the iPhone X, according to KGI Securities. The researcher believes that Apple will launch two expensive OLED versions, and one model with LCD and lower price.

These new phones are likely to offer additional hardware and software improvements over the iPhone X, but their design will be basically the same.

There may be a 6.5-inch ‘Plus’ model with a pixel density between 480 and 500 ppi. It may be called the iPhone X Plus, or something completely different. Apple may also planning a cheaper (if $700 could be called cheap) version of the iPhone X but with an LCD panel. It may have a 6.1-inch screen and a pixel density of 320-330ppi.

As for the pricing of the OLED models in 2018, KGI doesn’t mention anything, but we expect the iPhone X (2018) to retain its $999 price tag, while the Plus version to start from something like $1249 for 64GB. The 256GB version may be even close to the $1500, which would be a new record for a popular smartphone.

Keep in mind that these are only predictions, and the reality may be completely different a year later.
