Apple may use bigger batteries for the new models
The upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 7 may have a bigger battery that its predecessor – 6s. A reliable source from France has posted new information on Twitter regarding the battery of the next Apple’s smartphone. If the information is correct, than the iPhone 7 battery will have a capacity of 1960 mAh, which would be a 14% improvement over the 6s and its 1715mAh. At the same time, the bigger model (5.5-inches) could also feature a bigger battery – 2915 mAh vs 2750 mAh for the iPhone 6s plus.
Many of the current Apple supporters want bigger batteries for the iPhone which the company hasn’t delivered so far. Now with the iPhone 7 release date approaching in September, we know that the new model won’t bring drastic changes over the previous generation. However, a modest visual change in the antenna bands, the elimination of the headphone jack and the bigger battery are almost confirmed for the 7.
We’ve already seen many leaked photos of the 7, but now for the first time we can have a look at a very short iPhone 7 video showing us the phone casing without the headphone jack, but with a bigger hole for the camera. We can also spot a second speaker hole instead of the jack. Watch the video below:
