Apple sold 2.7 million smartwatches in Q3 2017

Apple Watch accounts for 41% of the worldwide smartwatch shipments. IDC has published a new report covering the smartwatch sales in the quarter ending September 2017. There were 2.7 million Apple Watch sales in Q3-2017, down from 3.4 million in Q2. Apple’s share has decreased from 49.6 to 41 percent for a quarter, but the difference between Apple and the second-biggest manufacturer is still very significant.
