Public testers and developers can install the seventh beta of iOS 10.3.
Only three days after Apple seeded the sixth beta of iOS 10.3, the company rolled out yet another beta of the upcoming iOS update to developers and public testers. iOS 10.3 Beta 7 can be installed as an over-the-air update with proper configuration profile, and this version brings some under the hood changes and improvements to iOS 10.3 before the wider public roll out this spring.
iOS 10.3 introduces many new features and changes to the Apple’s mobile OS. Among the novelties is the ability to locate an earphone using the new feature called ‘Find my AirPods’. In addition, there is a new file system (APFS) optimized for faster speeds while reading / writing in flash or SSD storage.
Also included in iOS 10.3 is a new animation when closing and opening apps. The Apple ID settings has its own section in Settings, and the iCloud settings have been changed too.
Apple is expected to release the major iOS 10.3 update to everyone in the coming weeks. As Apple has been exclusively focused on fixing bugs for a couple of weeks now, we guess the public release is not far away.
