iOS 11.2 beta 4

Apple releases iOS 11.2 beta 4 for public testers and developers

New iOS 11.2 Beta has been released by Apple.

The company has offered the fourth public beta of iOS 11.2 from the Developer Center or as a free OTA update for members of the Beta program. iOS 11.2 Beta 4 brings further improvements and fixes to iOS ahead of the official update (11.2) expected by the end of this year.

New features have not been introduced in this beta, but Apple already included several important fixes in iOS 11.2 and Apple Pay Cash. The peer-to-peer payments are available for users through the iMessage app, enabling very quick transfers between users.

Among the improvements in iOS 11.2 is faster wireless charging speed, for which we already reported here.

The update also makes the Control Center more easily accessible on the iPhone X, fixes the Calculator bug, and introduces the ability to play Apple TV content directly from the Control Center.

You can download the iOS 11.2 Beta 4 update from Settings → General → Software Update. It’s 47.6 MB in size.
