Apple confirms the names of the new iPhones

iPhone Xr, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max to debut this month.

Apple’s new line of iPhones has been accidentally confirmed by the company itself. On its official website, Apple already prepared the pages of the three new models, although the actual links are not active yet. However, we can now be 100% sure that Apple is going to announce:

  • iPhone Xs
  • iPhone Xs Max
  • iPhone Xr

While iPhone Xs can be considered as an upgrade to the current flagship iPhone X, the Xs Max is an enlarged version of the former. Both models will have screens of 5.8 and 6.5 inches across the diagonals, and they will be both OLED panels. We also learn that Apple will be selling three storage variants of each OLED model – 64, 256 and 512 GB.

The third new models, dubbed iPhone Xr or Xc, will have lower price thanks to its old-gen LCD panel (6.1-inch) and some other hardware compromises here and there. iPhone Xr will be offered in 64 or 256 GB, in a variety of colors like blue, yellow, white and others. Apple is officially announcing the new iPhones today, with sales starting later this month.
